Real Madrid drew at the Sánchez-Pizjuán and remain top of LaLiga. The match had a fast pace and had as much intensity as it had controversy. Madridistas had a few cases to complain to the referee as it looked like their game was not having a fair support as the game progressed and an episode of racism was also spotted. However, the performance of the team was quite good even why they should’ve been more accurate in front of the goal. Throughout the game Ancelotti tried to make the team a bit more offensive while also trying to refresh it. One great thing about the performance was the team’s reaction after the conceded goal, which appeared crucial to get one point since it is very difficult in a game like this, with an opponent like Sevilla and will a Stadium full of avid fans to not get down psychologically. On this game, Madridistas saw their old friend Sergio Ramos play as an opponent for the first time and it turned out to be a very interesting encounter.

The white team wasted no time seizing the initiative, as they quickly surged ahead within the opening four minutes of the game. It all began with a masterful corner kick by Toni Kroos, displaying his precision and skill. In a display of remarkable anticipation, Jude Bellingham outmaneuvered his marker, Nyland, and skillfully cushioned the ball into the path of Valverde. With only a sliver of a shooting angle available, the Uruguayan midfielder unleashed a fierce strike that found the back of the net. However, the jubilation was short-lived as the referee, De Burgos Bengoetxea, received a prompt signal from the VAR booth. Upon careful review, the goal was disallowed due to a hairline offside call against the Englishman, leaving the Real Madrid faithful in a state of disbelief.

Just five minutes later, the drama continued to unfold on the pitch. Antonio Rüdiger, with his tenacious defensive skills, swiftly dispossessed Ocampos in a contentious duel. The Sevilla player found himself sprawled on the turf, appealing for a foul, but to his dismay, the referee, De Burgos Bengoetxea, remained unmoved. Real Madrid, sensing an opportunity, initiated a lightning-fast counter-attack. In the blink of an eye, Bellingham capitalized on the confusion and slotted the ball into the net, seemingly securing the 0-1 lead for his team. However, once again, the joyous celebration was abruptly silenced as the referee had already halted play due to Ocampos' fall, leaving both sets of fans in suspense and anticipation..

In an electrifying encounter that unfolded within the first 15 minutes, Ivan Rakitic had a golden opportunity to put the home team ahead with a left-footed strike inside the box. However, Dani Carvajal displayed superb defensive skills by heading the ball off the line, denying Rakitic's effort. The rebound fell to Lucas Ocampos, who attempted a surprising long-range shot, only to be thwarted by an outstanding save from Kepa Arrizabalaga. The home side continued to press, and just two minutes later, Ocampos orchestrated another promising move, combining with Sow. Sow's subsequent cross-shot narrowly missed the target by inches, leaving the home fans in suspense.

The game was going back and forth and in the 34th minute there was another dangerous move for our team. Kroos, very cleverly, took a low free-kick and Sergio Ramos was on hand to prevent the 0-1 scoreline. Six minutes later, Rüdiger, from his own half, surprised everyone with a precise pass behind the defence but Vini Jr's vollied shot from inside the box crashed into Nyland's chest. The last play of the first half was also controversial. Vini Jr. got into the box in the 44th minute and was brought down from behind by Jesús Navas. De Burgos Bengoetxea did not award a penalty, nor was he alerted from the VAR room, even why it looked like Navas’ intervention didn’t really had anything to do with the ball…

The first chance of the second half fell to Ancelotti's men in the 57th minute. Valverde played a precise ball from the right flank to Rodrygo, who controlled the ball with his back to goal and shot, but Nyland cleared the ball with his foot. A minute later, it was the same players and the home keeper was again the key man as he got just enough contact on the Brazilian's lob after a lovely pass from Vini Jr. with the outside of his right foot. Ancelotti brought on Camavinga and Modrić in the 67th minute. Four minutes later Rodrygo could have scored, but his left-footed shot from inside the area went high.

Bad luck was to befall Los Blancos in the 74th minute and Sevilla took the lead in a fortuitous move, when Alaba, in his attempt to clear the ball, scored in his own net. Nothing to do for Kepa, who was not expecting a shot coming from that close distance and even why he did touch the ball it was not enough to stop it from hitting the net. It didn't take long for the league leaders to respond, and four minutes later they equalized. Kroos swung in a free-kick and Carvajal, at the near post, surprised the defense with a spectacular header. The game gave no respite and Kepa was at his best in the 80th minute after Sergio Ramos' header. From then until the very end, in a very heated atmosphere, both teams searched for a winner, only to come away with a point.
