After lifting the LaLiga trophy, Carlo Ancelotti has now won every single possible trophy at Real Madrid: Champions League, Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup, LaLiga, Copa del Rey and Spanish Super Cup. He has been one of the most victorious coaches of Real Madrid clinching some historical trophies like La Decima and La Liga no. 35 which sees Real Madrid enforcing their position in the list of the teams that have won more domestic Leagues (being second only to Juventus with 36) in the top 5 Championships of Europe.

In his first season at Real Madrid (2013/14), Ancelotti lifted the Champions League and the Copa del Rey. The Italian continued to add to his silverware list the following season with the Club World Cup and the UEFA European Super Cup. In his second spell at the club, which began in the summer of 2021, he has so far won LaLiga and the Spanish Super Cup.

After the success, the Madrid boss had the following to say to the press: “It fills me with great pride. I like what I do and the five league titles mean that I’ve done a good job. I’m proud to be at Real Madrid and to win trophies with this team, and I’d like to keep doing it”.


He continued: “I’m delighted, we’ve accomplished a challenge. The season we’ve had in the league has been spectacular, with a lot of consistency and stability. I’d like to thank all the players for their hard work, attitude and commitment. Today we have to celebrate”.


Ancelotti believes the celebrations can help lift the players' spirits to fight back against Pep Guardiola's side: "A celebration like this can bring an extra energy to the locker room, it can be good as another motivation facing such a difficult task against a great team", Carletto said.
