Real will play the Derby of Madrid against Atletico on Sunday night in what is expected to be a very tough game. Ancelotti and Asensio spoke in front of the camera and explained the importance of the game and how they need to prepare for it. Real Madrid comes in a great form at this match, but at the other hand Atletico has had a lot of ups and downs.

After the coach’s words, Marco Asensio also assessed the game at the Santiago Bernabéu for Realmadrid TV: “It's going to be a hard-fought game. We're up against a good side and a derby is always special. We'll try to take the initiative as we've been doing in recent games. We have to be intense and aggressive in both boxes, they will be the key elements to this game".

“We've been consistent in our play and are performing at a decent level. Both at the back and in attack, we're playing well game to game. We understand each other really well and we're linking up better, which is what the gaffer asks of us”.

Efficiency up top: “We're creating a lot of chances and getting more guys forward. That means we're getting more opportunities to score and it's important we're converting”.

Atmosphere: “The derby is a unique, special game, mainly because of how we experience it and how the fans live every moment of it. It's very special to play at the Bernabéu in front of our fans and to enjoy that atmosphere once again. Scoring goals gives you a confidence boost. To score in a big game again really helps and we're all in good form at the moment. From a personal point of view, I'm playing with confidence and I'm eager to contribute as much as possible".

The key to world class shooting: “It's a little bit of everything. A little bit of what one has inside of them, the natural element, and then there's hours of shooting practice in different ways so you can put it into practice in a game".

Versatility: “Ancelotti is pretty clear about what he wants from every position on the pitch. Both coming inside and playing on the wing, they're different positions. He wants different things from you depending on how we're playing. I feel comfortable in both roles and I do whatever he tells me to out on the pitch".

Goal: “Atlético are one of the few teams I haven't got my iconic goal against yet. I really want to contribute, get on the scoresheet and perform well to get the win".
