One of the best after-game moments is when the protagonists share their happiness with the public. After the Clásico, Jude Bellingham, MVP of the match, spoke to Realmadrid TV at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys. The English midfielder, scorer of the two goals that gave Real Madrid the win against Barcelona, said: "It was a good day. Neither myself nor the team were at our best, but we kept playing and little by little we started to put pressure on their midfield and defence. Then we got our reward. We showed belief and character and we took the three points. Another comeback. I love them. It's hard on the heart, but they're fun games. We gave it our all, we didn't give up and I'm very happy."

First goal: "I got the ball on the edge of the box. I've been saying for a few weeks that I need to try from outside. Maybe the opponents expect me to try to get into the box or combine with a team-mate and I wanted to surprise them by hitting it from outside the box. I know I have the technique and it went into the top corner."

13 goals in 13 games: "I wasn't at my best. Sometimes it's not about trying to do something special every time you have the ball, but to combine with those up top. I fulfilled that task well, but as soon as I got the ball there I knew I was going to score."

Work: "Right now everything is going well for me. I'm preparing well for the games, I'm starting well and learning from my team-mates and coaches. I just want to improve and help the team to win. Thanks to my qualities I can help and I want to continue to do so."

His first Clasico: "I just spoke to my family, but with the noise it was difficult to hear them well. I told them I was excited before the game. I had watched many Clasicos from the sofa with my family and I told them that today it was my turn to live it firsthand and do something great. I've done that and I'm very happy."

Meanwhile, on the other hand, Luka Modrić continues to make history with Real Madrid. In the clash with Barcelona, the midfielder reached a milestone achieved by only a select few - 500 games as a madridista. The Croatian expressed his delight at his achievement: “I don't know what to say. I'm very proud to be able to have represented this club so many times. 500 is a very special number. Reaching this number against a big rival, in the Clásico, and winning the game, I couldn't ask for more. I'm very proud to reach this number at the biggest club in history”.

He continued: “Once again we've shown our character. Never give up and fight to the end. We did very well in the second half and deserved to win. It couldn't have been a more special day. This number is so big. I don't think I realise what I'm achieving at this club”.

A special game: “These are things that fill you with pride. Reaching this number isn't easy, there aren't many players who do it, and that's why I'm happy and proud. In the Clásico, winning and with the armband that Carvajal gave me in the second half. It's been a great day”.

On Bellingham: “He's come in and it seems he's been here for a long time, not three months. He's landed, as they say in Spain, on the front foot. We're all very pleased with his performance because of his personality and the way he is. It's no coincidence that he's adapted so well. He's a top lad and he's an extraordinary talent, which he's showing every day. He's scoring so many goals that even he can't believe it. I'm very happy for him and I congratulate him for everything he's doing. He has to keep it up”.

The press was completed with Vini Jr. Who notched up his 150th victory with Real Madrid against Barcelona at the Estadio Olimpico Lluís Companys. The Brazilian spoke to Realmadrid TV after the game and expressed his satisfaction: "To reach this number in the best team in the world and in a Clásico is very important for me. We must continue like this and we are all very happy. We have until Wednesday to enjoy this Clásico and then we have to get back into our stride. The coach understands us and when he can he gives us freedom. We never give up and in the end when we fight we can win any game. We controlled the second half very well and played very well. We all knew the second goal was going to come and it came once again. Jude took his chance to score."

Praise for Bellingham: "He's unbelievable. He always makes a difference. There are a lot of young players here and we spend a lot of time together on and off the pitch. It brings the team together and gives us a better chance of winning a lot of things this season."

His figures: The Brazilian has reached this figure in his sixth season in our team, with which he has played 235 games and scored 63 goals. In these years, Vini Jr. has won 1 Champions League, 2 Club World Cups, 1 European Super Cup, 2 LaLiga titles, 1 Copa del Rey and 2 Spanish Super Cups. His 150 victories are distributed as follows: 103 in LaLiga, 29 in the Champions League, 12 in the Copa del Rey, 3 in the Club World Cup, 2 in the Spanish Super Cup and 1 in the European Super Cup. The 2021-22 season was Vini Jr.'s most prolific in terms of wins (37). He followed last season with 35 wins and 23 goals, his highest scoring tally to date. The opponents he has beaten most often are Barcelona, Celta and Athletic Club (8).
