Dani Carvajal and Casemiro had a key role in the victory against Real Betis and they both had a very positive rating for the night.
The goalscorer Dani Carvajal discussed the Clash: “We started very strongly during the opening few minutes but then the team began to leave too much space between the lines and Betis put us under big pressure. Today, our main goal was to work defensively and to keep a clean sheet, and we managed just that. We got the goal we needed and take an important win which sends us into the international break in more relaxed fashion”.
He continued: “At half-time the coach made a few tactical corrections to help us hurt Betis and increase our intensity in the press, and that helped us win the ball back higher up the pitch. There are a lot of very good quality players here and that's clear. Miguel came on today and did a great job".
His goal celebration: “It came from the fact I've had a difficult time of it from a personal perspective lately. All that anger and hard work that you put in for a long time to get back fit came to the surface. I'd like to dedicate it to my wife and my son and I hope the goal marks the start of a good run. I just want to keep this up. It's been a long time since I felt this good. Now, with the international break we can rest up and recharge our batteries".
A short comment on Mbappe: “As the coach said a few days back, anyone who comes in to strengthen the squad is a positive. Let's see if he can strengthen us because he's a great player.
After Dani it was Casemiro who appeared at the cameras and spoke about the dynamics of the match and the importance of this victory where he stated that the key of victory was the great effort that everyone put. Casemiro was also part of a funny moment when he had to perform a tackle on one of his opponents and unintentionally tackled the referee as well. Both of them fell down and then got up laughing at the situation.
