When it comes to the players that have always been loyal to the club, the fans are always pleased to hear that they will keep defending the colors that they have always defended. He covered for the injured Sergio Ramos with a series of solid displays at the heart of the defense and with Ramos leaving for Paris Saint-Germain, he is likely to play an important role in the coming season.
