Karim Benzema recorded his 400th victory for Real Madrid in the clash against Rayo Vallecano, where he also scored the only goal of the match which was of course the winning goal. The French striker linked up well with Vini Jr., playing a neat one-two with the Brazilian, to make it 0-1 when only few minutes were left. Benzema, who has been at the club for 13 seasons (making his debut in 2009), reached 400 wins after making 590 appearances for the white team.
His first victory came on his debut, on 29 August 2009 against Deportivo La Coruña at the Santiago Bernabéu. He has since gone on to make club history and is in eighth position in Real Madrid's leading appearance-maker charts and fourth top scorer with 305 goals. He is not far at all from the places above. If everything goes well he may jum to the second place by the end of this year! Di Stefano is in the 3rd place with 308 goals, Raul in the 2nd with 323 and Cristiano in the 1st with 450 goals.
Benzema's victories have come in LaLiga (286), Champions League (74), Copa del Rey (24), Club World Cup (8), Spanish Super Cup (5) and European Super Cup (3). The campaign in which he won the most games was 2011-12, with 40.
The forward has won everything with Real Madrid and is set to win even more! His impressive list of honours boasts 20 titles: 4 Champions League, 4 Club World Cups, 3 European Super Cups, 3 LaLiga titles, 2 Copa del Rey trophies and 4 Spanish Super Cups. This year Real Madrid is in the race for the Champions League trophy and for La Liga with the latter being the most probable trophy to get and by the end of the season the Frenchman may add another trophy to his cabinet.
