FedeValverde racked up his 100th LaLiga appearance for Real Madrid in the trip to Osasuna. The midfielder reaches this landmark in this, his fourth season with the first team, for whom he has played his part in 70 wins and netted five times in the competition, which he won in the 2019/20 season.
The Uruguayan expressed his satisfaction at the final whistle: “I'm happy, it’s very special to achieve personal objectives with such a great team and the best club in the world. I enjoy every game, training session and momentum as if it were the last”.
Statistics: The Uruguayan is enjoying a fine season and in his 27 LaLiga outings he boasts an excellent record of 20 wins, five draws and just two defeats. During his Real Madrid career, he has lifted four pieces of silverware: a Club World Cup, a LaLiga title and a pair of Spanish Super Cups.
On the other hand, it was Rodrygo who also made his 100th appearance for Real Madrid at El Sadar. But in contrast to Valverde this appearance was his 100th in all competitions. The forward, who played a pivotal role by winning two penalties, reached this figure after three seasons at the club and his appearances are split between four competitions: LaLiga (69), Champions League (24), Copa del Rey (4) and Spanish Super Cup (3).
Over these 100 games, Rodrygo has netted 13 goals, eight of which have come in the Champions League. The remaining goals have been scored in LaLiga (4) and the Copa del Rey (1). In total, he has chalked up 66 victories and clinched three trophies as a Real Madrid player: one LaLiga title and two Spanish Super Cups.
