Meanwhile, no official statement was made on Militao since his injury and substitution were just a precaution since Ancelotti does not want to risk anything.
For the moment, all eyes are on Benzema, who went to Valdebebas on Wednesday to get tested and start his recovery as soon as possible. It is reported that the forward felt severe pain in his right leg during the game in Glasgow. The club doctor labelled it as discomfort, but didn't specify anything more than that.
It was later announced that the French striker has a semitendinous muscle injury and an overload in his quadriceps, and has some pain in the meniscus from that same leg, which will force him to sit out Real Madrid's next games against Mallorca, Leipzig, Atletico Madrid as well as the French National Team games at the end of the month.

Regarding Militao, the player limped off with a muscular issue on the night as well, but Carlo Ancelotti was confident that his injury was nothing major. The Brazilian will face further tesing on Thursday, as the tests that he underwent this Wednesday came inconclusive despite the medical team being sure that there is nothing serious.
