Carlo Ancelotti named his squad for the United States tour, during which the team will play three pre-season matches against Barcelona (Las Vegas), Club América (San Francisco) and Juventus (Los Angeles). As predicted, there will be many players and all of them will have their chance to play and show more about themselves and the actual form, especially the youngsters and the new arrivals.
Real Madrid Squad is as follows:
Goalkeepers: Courtois, Lunin, Luis López and Lucas Cañizares.
Defenders: Carvajal, Militão, Alaba, Vallejo, Nacho, Rüdiger, Mendy, Odriozola and Tobías.
Midfielders: Kroos, Modrić, Casemiro, Valverde, Lucas V., Tchouameni, Ceballos and Camavinga.
Forwards: Hazard, Benzema, Asensio, Vini Jr., Rodrygo, Mariano and Latasa.
The team will play three matches in the United States, as part of the Soccer Champions Tour. First game will be played against Barcelona at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Sunday 24 July at 5am Spanish time (Saturday 23 July, 8pm local time). The next game is on Wednesday 27 July at 4:30am Spanish time (Tuesday 26 July, 7:30pm local time) against Club America at Oracle Park in San Francisco. Then on Sunday 31 July, at 4am Spanish time (Saturday 30 July, 7pm local time), they will bring the tournament to a close against Juventus at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Los Angeles.
Florentino Pérez also travelled with the team to Los Angeles. The president headed the group, which left Adolfo Suárez-Barajas airport at 3:20pm (CET) on July 19. The Real Madrid traveling party, set off from Madrid Barajas-Adolfo Suárez airport and landed in the US city of Los Angeles after a 12-hour flight. The players then headed to the Beverly Hills Hotel, where they will be based during their stay in Los Angeles, with the training setting in UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles) ready to accomplish their needs during the sessions.
After his teammates’ arrival, Karim Benzema joined up with Real Madrid's pre-season training camp in Los Angeles. The captain caught up with Carlo Ancelotti and his teammates at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Benzema is now in his 14th season in the club, where he scored 44 goals last season and won the Champions League, LaLiga and the Spanish Super Cup.
The team’s first training session
Real Madrid completed the first session focused on fitness and ball work on their first day's training in Los Angeles. The players kicked off with a range of physical preparation exercises in the gym at the UCLA campus before continuing with different fitness drills out on the pitch. The squad then worked on possession, control and dribbling and completed attacking exercises with a single goal. The session concluded with games on reduced-size pitches.
Meeting with the fans
Real Madrid's presence in Los Angeles saw an outpouring of support from the numerous fans of our team in California. The squad witnessed the passion first-hand at their first training session at the facilities on the UCLA campus, where several of fans were waiting to see their idols in the flesh.
Ancelotti and the players responded to the show of support by signing autographs and posing for photos. The fans chanted the players' names and wore team jerseys and scarves in just another display of how madridismo is experienced in every corner of the globe.
The other day, Florentino Pérez also spent some time with madridista fans at UCLA. The Real Madrid president attended the team's morning training session and signed autographs and posed for photos with fans at the campus.

Gregg Berhalter was in attendance at Real Madrid's first training session at the facilities on the UCLA campus (Los Angeles). The United States Men's Team national coach greeted Ancelotti and the players as they continued to get back in shape ahead of the new season.

Florentino Pérez also met with members of the Los Angeles Madridista Supporters Club at the Beverly Hills Hotel, where the team stayed. The Real Madrid president, who had previously attended the second day's training at UCLA, greeted the group of madridistas and posed for photos with them.
JuJu Smith-Schuster checks in
JuJu Smith-Schuster, American footballer for the Kansas City Chiefs, visited Real Madrid's morning training session on day two of their pre-season camp in Los Angeles. The wide receiver greeted the players, who play the first fixture of their pre-season tour against Barcelona this week (Sunday, 5:00am Spanish time) in the Soccer Champions Tour.
More encounters with the fans
Just before the start of the third day of training at the UCLA campus, the squad had a further encounter with a group of fans. The players signed autographs and posed for photos with the fans. This was another display of the affection that the team has been receiving since arriving in the United States. The Los Angeles fans continue to relish the presence of the European and LaLiga champions.

Florentino Pérez greeted the Peña Madridista Sur de California at the Beverly Hills Hotel, the team's base in Los Angeles. The Real Madrid president welcomed this group of madridistas and posed for photographs with them at an event that was also attended by the director of Institutional Relations, Emilio Butragueño.
Training before the departure to Las Vegas
The team finished the third day of training in Los Angeles at the UCLA campus. Ancelotti's players completed the final training session ahead of the Clásico, the first clash of the Soccer Champions Tour, which will be played at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. (Sunday, 5:00 am CET; Saturday, 8:00 pm local time).
The session began with fitness work in the gym at the UCLA campus facilities. The squad then separated into two teams to practise possession, pressing and tactical drills. The session ended with games in reduced spaces and shooting practice. Carvajal trained inside the facilities.
