Real Madrid thrashed Celta at Balaídos on LaLiga matchday two in a very dynamic game. Vini Jr. was the scorer of the Whites' third goal on the night, providing the assist for the fourth one as well. His performance was praised by the coach and his teammates as he affirms himself as a key player for the new season. After the game, the Brazilian assessed the team's display as follows:

The forward leaves it for Valverde to hit behind him, and the Uruguayan tucks it into the bottom-left corner from the edge of the area!
Scoring his first goal for the 2022-23 La Liga campaign: “I always watch videos of Ronaldo and he talks to me too. He tells me that it's easier like that when you're through one-on-one. I stayed calm and Modrić's sublime pass meant I could find the net", the youngster said.
